Hi All
Due to some changes in our business structure, and some unexpected turns, the MP3s of our album and single are no longer available from Respect Music. We are currently building a brand new website for Nude Continuum which will have an extensive online store and will sell all of our singles, albums, and standalone B-Side tracks as MP3s and of course the album CD as well. We are also developing the first wave of merchandise that will be launched later in the year. All things "Nude" will be sold through the ONE online store, right here at nudecontinuum.com
We will be launching the brand new Nude Continuum site in early May, along with a new forum, and our own new online radio station - a site that will be dedicated to the appreciation of quality soul music from the 1960s through to tomorrow!
For the time being, the CD is still readily available through our online store, and the MP3s will all be available very soon, so please stay tuned :)
Thankyou to the growing Nudist colony for all the wonderful feedback and reviews we are getting about the album, it really does mean the world to us.

A NUDE RADIO SPECIAL

Hi All
Just wanted to announce that Nude Continuum will be partaking in its very first radio special as part of the launch of our new album Nightclub of the Nudist.
Respect Music, the label who are releasing our album digitally, have recently begun their own weekly show: Respect Music Radio, on the Gold Coast's 105.7 Radio Metro.
This Easter Sunday (23rd March) we will be joining them for their 2 hour show from 7pm to 9pm AEST (GMT+10). For those in the UK that's 9am to 11am, and for those in Western Europe, that's 10am to 12pm.
We will be playing tracks from the album for the first time on the airwaves, and giving away 5 FREE SIGNED copies of the album to listeners (local and international listeners alike!).
If you're overseas and out of broadcast range, don't fret - the show is broadcast live to the internet, so you can tune in here.

In other news, for those who haven't been there already, we have undertaking an ongoing Q&A Interview on the Jamirotalk.net forum, mainly because of our creative connection with Derrick Mckenzie (Jamiroquai). Greetings all!
Well, after a month of grueling studio work, we finally have the album finished! It's mixed and ready for the final stages of mastering and pressing, however as you would probably be aware, this costs money. As we are releasing this album independently, we need to raise the money ourselves to get this done and get the album out there - however, YOU can help us!
As you probably noticed in the banner above, we have now opened our online store for pre-orders of the album. Basically, if you click the preorder button, you can pay for your copy of album now and be the first to receive it when it is pressed in the coming months. The more we pre-sell, the faster we can get it finished. 50 pre-sold copies will pay for mastering, and 50 more will pay for pressing!
But there are more benefits to pre-ordering than just being the first to get the CD. We are throwing in a bunch of free gifts as thanks for your early support. Once you complete your pre-order purchase through the shopping cart, we will email you a link to download a bundle of files which will include a high quality MP3 sampler of the album, a high-res image of the album cover and a free MP3 of an unreleased Nude Continuum track that will not be available anywhere else! Derrick with NC - look and listen!

As mentioned in the last news update, Derrick Mckenzie (Jamiroquai's drummer) recently recorded drums for 2 tracks from Nude Continuum's album. Those tracks are Don't Stop the Beat, and Mistake, and samples of each are now available to hear in the player to the left.
In addition to this, the video conference that James and Freesia had with Derrick and Winston while they were recording is now available to watch on youtube or right here on our DOWNLOADS page. Check it out!
2007 - in closing...

Well, this news update is well overdue, but here goes!
We've finished tracking the album! We're finally done with the recording aspect of it. The process came to a close when Derrick Mckenzie tracked drums for us on 2 songs (Don't Stop the Beat and Mistake). They will be available to hear online soon, so stay tuned. He recorded them with Winston Rollins in his private facility - RedRoom Studios, Chiswick. Although we were still here on the Gold Coast, Australia, the magic of Skype allowed us to have a video link up and take part in the recording process. Needless to say Derrick's playing was fantastic, and Winston's recording was top shelf. You'll be able to hear the results soon.
So the other news is that as we finish off the album with mixing and mastering over the next month, we are starting to lay the foundations to get it released in Australia, the UK, Europe, Japan and the USA. Of course, once the demand is there, we will also endeavour to have it out in Central and South-East Asia, Africa, Canada, South America and beyond.
We're currently making contact with labels, promotion companies and management organisations around the globe, with a view to having the album on shelves everywhere by mid-2008.
However, we are already signed to Respect Music (Australia) for an Australian physical release, and online distribution, so the good news is that the album will be online and ready to purchase as MP3s within the next few months. As soon as it is ready to go, we will put an unmissable link up on this page, and on our myspace page.
I'll be taking a trip to Japan in April to begin negotiations with labels there, and hopefully to line up some gigs for later in the year. At this stage its also looking pretty certain that Princess Freesia and I will be flying to London at the end of June and staying for a good month, in which we intend to play as many gigs as possible with our English band boys. Stay tuned for solid dates.
2007 has been an incredibly productive year. Foundations have been laid, and after 7 years of leanring and honing, we have finally presented our music to the public. The positive feedback has been overwhelming, and makes us feel certain that 2008 is going to be a year of magnificent journeying! We hope to see the world in the next 12 months, and make ourselves known to it!
